During the 2026 American Rocketry Challenge (ARC) National Finals, students from our Southern California rocketry teams had the opportunity to meet Mr. Chuck Neff, Chairman of Section Activities of the National Association of Rocketry (NAR).
Mr. Neff spoke with students about the importance of youth participation in aerospace engineering, mentorship within the rocketry community, and the long-term growth of student rocketry programs across the United States. Students also shared their experiences preparing for the ARC National Finals, including rocket design, flight testing, recovery systems, and launch operations.
The meeting provided an inspiring opportunity for students to connect directly with one of the leaders of the national rocketry community and gain further insight into the future of aerospace education and high-power rocketry activities.
We sincerely thank Mr. Neff and the National Association of Rocketry for their continued support of student aerospace education and the next generation of rocketry innovators.

Two of our Southern California student rocket teams, both qualified for the 2026 American Rocketry Challenge (ARC) National Finals, visited Capitol Hill during the Aerospace Industries Association (AIA) “Rockets on the Hill” program in Washington, D.C. Students had the opportunity to represent STEM education, meet national aerospace leaders, and engage with congressional offices while showcasing their engineering achievements and teamwork.

Student rocketry teams from across the United States gathered at Capitol Hill as part of the 2026 AIA “Rockets on the Hill” program. The event brought together young aerospace innovators, educators, industry leaders, and policymakers to celebrate student achievement in aerospace engineering and promote the future of STEM education and rocketry programs nationwide.
